Ghibli movie quiz!

I took a name the Ghibli movie quiz from Loot Crate. Not bad I say.
HARD: Can You Match These Studio Ghibli Scenes to their Movie?
You got 7 out of 10
Not too shabby!
Not too bad! We understand that this quiz was HARD! Most people haven't even heard of some of the names in the options! No worries you did great!!!

Another anime quiz I took.

QUIZ: Which Anime Detective Are You?

You are: Suika!

Result Image
You are the Great Detective Suika! You are quiet and reserved, and find it hard to sometimes be noticed. While this can be helpful to your detective abilities, it makes it hard for you to stand out to others. You would do almost anything for your friends, and you treasure them dearly. Although quiet and shy, once people get to know you, they realize you are someone they can count on in any situation!

Demon valentine quiz

I did a quiz on Crunchyroll to see which demon girl from the anime Welcome To Demon School would be my valentines day.  I got

Crocell Kerori

"It's always the quiet ones, isn't it? Kerori is the definition of a girl who's studious in the streets and and a superstar in the... entertainment news. If you're looking for the best of both worlds, you've found a winner!"

Five Star Stories ebay review

This is the review I did for the copy of Five Star Stories on DVD i got from ebay. I hope to do a full review soon.

"A diamond in a rough package, Five Star Story on DVD

As I heard before, this film is beautifully animated with a story that feel so familiar but told it a new way.
Truly an anime that does not suck. In the 60-ish minutes of this film, I feel I watched a better version of the film DUNE(1984) in building the universe that the characters live in.
Description for this DVD stated that it was not a bootleg but it doesn't look like it to me with the packaging but the quality is excellent in picture and sound with an english menu, three subtitles, and a limited amount of extras as a bonus.
This film is a must watch despite the packaging as it has some cool looking mecha, interesting characters to care about, and a story that you will wish was continued in anime form."

What's My Isekai Superpower?

I took a quiz on Crunchyroll to figure out what my isekai power would be. You can take the quiz here and down below is the power I got. See you on the other size.

You're super-smart!

Result Image
Sometimes, just remembering where you came from is a superpower all its own. If you were smart and crafty in your first life, there are good odds you can make a medieval fantasy world work for you—and give the residents something nice in the process. Whether it's shampoo, books, or indoor plumbing, there's serious merit to bringing your smarts with you.

Took another quiz...

On the Crunchyroll Which Character From Welcome To Demon School! Iruma-kun Are You? quiz, I got:

Ameri

"There are few people more imposing than you, but anyone who believes that you're just a cold person just hasn't gotten to know the real you. See, deep down, you love ambition, being supportive of others, and perhaps a decent helping of shojo manga from time to time."

Happy birthday, anime woman.

A few weeks back, Crunchyroll did a video on how important anime birthdays are. Just as I found out the birthday to a 2D woman I respect, Kiva from Megas XLR, is on 9/15.
The show was of USA production but the character of Kiva is very anime based. Much of the show is parody and tribute to anime(mostly the mecha genre) in its run.
To honor Kiva in her efforts to save the Earth in both the future and present(2004) and for being a top grade mech pilot, I made a shrine with images of her drinking a Mega-Slush next to a bowl of jerky.
Happy birthday to you, Kiva.

I got to see the Gundam NT movie in theaters a few nights back and before the film started this URL was shown on screen for a PDF about Gunpla Navigation Web Catalog 2018. Covering many Gunpla and the anime that go with them.

Did you catch this rare screening? What Gunpla are you planning to buy next? Which color Haro is the best?

Valentine's Day with Hestia quiz

I took a quiz on Crunchyroll to see which character I would spend Valentines day with. I got:

Spend your Valentine's Day with the bubbly, busty goddess Hestia! She's more than willing to share her specially-made chocolate (as long as you pay for dinner 😉)

Video is from Crunchyroll Games

A glowing ORANGE review

I gave a review on a product I bought from Gamestop on their website. I got the limited edition Haro Shooting Orange Clear Color.

New color to the collection

I haven't opened it but I'm happy that a local Gamestop had one in stock for me to pick up. Being a limited item, I'm going to keep this box sealed.
The staff was very helpful from the guy who answered the phone to place the item on hold to Brandon who greeted me and looked for the item behind the counter.
I love Gundam and many of the Gunpla that spawn from it. This is one kit I hope to keep for a long time even if it's just to show off.

Konosuba quiz

I got Satou Kazuma on a Konosuba quiz.

Let's be honest. You have a bit of a sarcastic nature. Despite that, it can't hide how much of a great person you are to your friends. They can be annoying at times, but inside your heart you care for them deeply. Ironically reliable is often a good way to describe yourself. Until then, you'll either be relaxing or jokingly teasing people.

The quiz is here:

This is no Gundam, kid. It's not even a Zaku.

 Aldnoah.Zero review

Just finished Aldnoah.zero. Feeling major let downs. The first 12 episodes only took me about 2 days to watch. The other 12 took about 7 months. Shows how I felt about it. I kept hearing that is was as close to Gundam that wasn't Gundam. It got close at some points but it sure wasn't a Gundam type anime in the end.

1 The main characters were bland

2 the world this anime took place in was some thing I wanted to explore but it didn't show off any of it besides the broken moon that just looked the same every time it was shown

3 technology was explained some to make it almost believable at first but then just hand waves away all the impossible things it does later in the series

4 besides a few Earth mechas in the beginning no mecha was shown off to it's full existent and each fight was a monster of the week instead of showing advances in tactics and technology

5 lots of side characters had lives of their own and could have been like able but most to all side stories they had were left half finished or just untouched

6 little talking robot eye buddy really!!!!!??????

7 Inaho is the biggest Gary Stu EVER! No one could do anything without his okay and hand holding

8 good guys in any Gundam lost from time to time but the "good guys" here just keep pulling out win after win from start to end

This show wanted to be an opera but it didn't have character and the drama to go with it.

The animation was nice but this is one anime I will not speak fondly of.

What anime would I make?

91.8 The Fan Facebook page asked what type of anime would I make? I commented:

I would do a sci-fi action/comedy like Outlaw Star but more of a harem. Alien babes everywhere! I can't trust myself to do Gundam justice.
I had this idea in my head since I started watching Gate on Crunchyroll.

An anime I think would work...

An anime I think would work or at least I want to see.

Magical Girl Heart Girls Club - The new hit anime where girls use magic to save the world but can only get their magic from dating other girls in school.
Action is every where as the magic that's used is connected the the feelings all the girls share.
Drama with surround the club as the girls have to cheat on each other to save the world leading to the question, Is it better to have a broken heart or a broke world?
Even non-magical enemies will arise as not every one in the school thinks that it's okay for girls to like girls.
Also, will the bake sale to keep the club open make enough yen?
The latest in Japanese fashion, viewer picked opening title song each week, and more based on the one volume manga.
Be sure to support the Cosplay Deviants Kickstarter for a live action North American remake that takes the relationships to a higher level.

"Heart power forever!"
